Ms Deanne King’s previous post has been at Saint David’s Marist Inanda, where she was an English teacher, deputy head academics and a “housemaster”. She has the attributes needed to take the school forward: she is well-organised, with a holistic view, and a great facilitator and peace-maker; she has a background in the arts, (one grandfather was an accomplished sculptor), an interest in sport and a competitive spirit; she is even-handed, and committed to seeing the benefits of a great school shared with others.
