The first cultural honours blazers
A new cultural honours blazer is introduced. Girls must earn scrolls (colours) in three of the following activities: music, drama, choir, practical art, debating, public speaking, Olympiads and service to the school or community. The new blazer is a sign of the growing importance of co-curricular activities that are not related to sport, and recognition of the efforts to improve the lives of others.
