The National Party wins the 1948 General Election

This is a seminal year in South African history as the National Party wins the general election and begins to implement, systematically, the system of apartheid, the social, economic and political separation of the races, with the intention of entrenching white minority rule.

The Sisters cannot break the laws of the country outright, but they certainly flaunt them (see AN OVERVIEW OF THE SISTERS’ INFLUENCE, Learn More, 1958 - decade 8).
