Cambodia expedition hike
On Sunday 10 March, the Cambodia expedition team did their final practice hike at Maretlwane in the beautiful Magaliesburg. The purpose of the hike was to check our equipment and to learn some valuable skills that we may need while on expedition. After a very hot hike, we got to spend some time in the river and we bonded as a team. Our next expedition takes place during the April holidays. We will be hiking in the Cardamom Mountains in the South West of Cambodia and living in the local villages, whilst doing community service. We are very excited to immerse ourselves into the Cambodian way of life, learn the history of the country and see some of the historical sights.
