Traditionally, the ISSF has embodied participation, camaraderie and a coming together of athletes from KwaZulu - Natal and Gauteng. There are no overall winners, but each contest is competitive, the players are motivated, and the standard is high.

The 1st hockey and netball teams, along with the top four tennis players and top two squash players, competed in this year’s event, hosted by Epworth School in Pietermaritzburg. Our teams made us proud! Our tennis girls won all their matches!

The bus trips, the competition, and the meeting and making of new friends are important aspects of school sport. A culmination of all of these contribute to a memorable experience for everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you to the coaches that so capably looked after their players. And thank you to the players themselves who were exceptional ambassadors for St Mary’s.
