The Form Is were challenged with the following question: How can we explore the rich tapestry of world cultures through food, and share our culinary discoveries in a creative and engaging cookbook?

Day one was spent sorting out groups, choosing which culture they would like to explore, looking at how a cookbook could be used for storytelling and investigating myths and recipes associated with that culture.

Day two was our outing day. We spent time at the Lesedi Cultural Village, where we looked at different village homes, learned about a few customs and saw how food was ground. We were entertained by traditional dancers, drummed together and enjoyed a traditional meal under the trees.

The girls have been engaged and we enjoyed seeing their creative, digital cookbooks.
