Congratulations to Elliott Rogers for winning the senior category of the VIEBZ contemporary music competition for soloists hosted by Lovemore Music and St Andrew’s School for Girls. She presented a spectacular performance of an own composition for guitar and voice. The competition is one of very few that provides secondary school students studying contemporary music with the opportunity to showcase their talent. Lovemore Music very generously sponsors the prizes in each category – Elliott won R3 000 to spend on music equipment.
