Tennis
Towards the end of last year, the St Mary’s tennis players were fortunate to spend a few hours on the court with the legendary Billie-Jean King, former world number one and winner of 39 Grand Slam titles, and Ilana Kloss who was one of South Africa’s top female tennis players. Billie-Jean helped the girls with specific technical points and chatted about what it takes to become a champion on and off the court. It was a memorable experience for all those involved.
