South African Rowing champions

The St Mary’s rowing club ended their 2018/2019 season on a high note. Winning the South African Schools’ Rowing Championships was the club’s main goal and we are immensely proud to have achieved this. The U14s won their age group trophy with gold medals in the double and octuple. The U15s achieved a silver in the single sculls and a gold in the double. The U16 won the age group trophy as well as gold in the quad and the four. The Open age group won gold in the double, scull and quad, along with bronze in the pair. Congratulations to everyone!
It is sad that this fantastic season has come to an end but these results prove that our continuous efforts and spirit have paid off. It has been a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful club.
