Form 1 camp 2018

Picture 8 4

On Tuesday 23 January, 114 Form I girls left in a cloud of anticipation as they travelled to the North West province for four days of adventure, team building and learning about one another. The teachers who accompanied the group commented on the girls’ spirit and exuberance. During free time one evening, several girls spontaneously produced a performance of their favourite Abba songs. In true St Mary’s tradition,
the most anticipated activity was the “mudstacle” course.

This highlighted the perseverance, resilience and tenacity of the group. The majority of the girls were praised for their beautiful manners and ready smiles. Thank you to the heads and representatives of the four houses for helping the girls to form an identity of what it means to be a St Mary’s girl.
