St Mary’s hosted the 20^th St Mary’s Investec Hockey Festival from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 April. Opening dinner celebrations happened on Wednesday 3 April, with matches getting underway on Thursday 4 April. The finals will took place at 17h00 on Sunday 7 April.

Thirty-two teams from around South Africa and Namibia competed in four days of fast-paced hockey:

The 17h00 finals saw C & N Sekondêre Meisieskool Oranje take on Paarl Gimnasium in a thrilling 25 minute encounter. The deadlock was broken in the 13^th minute, with five time winners, Oranje hitting the back of the net for the only goal of the match, making them six time winners of the 20 year long festival.
