The St Mary’s 1^st tennis team clinched the finals of the St Mary’s Invitational Tennis Festival. St Mary’s beat the defending champions, Die Hoërskool Menlopark, in convincing style by winning three of the four singles matches. St Mary’s, Kloof, beat The Wykeham Collegiate to take third place. St Andrew’s School for Girls, Northcliff High School, Pretoria High School for Girls and Somerset College were placed in the last four positions respectively.
