Valentine’s Day in the Senior Primary
The Senior Primary girls took part in an inter-house Valentine’s Day challenge to collect bottle tops and use them to create hearts. The house captains did a wonderful job leading their houses and helping the girls construct their hearts. Congratulations to the Springboks that won the challenge with 3 875 bottle tops. All the bottle tops will be donated to the Sweetheart Foundation which recycles plastic bottle tops and bread tags in exchange for wheelchairs. The whole Junior School took part in a diversity committee initiative to write inspirational messages to one another and these were delivered on Valentine’s Day. Little Saints made beautiful flowers for the teachers.
