Senior Primary Heritage Day celebrations
After an informative assembly by Dr Warner which added to the girls’ nuanced understanding of what diversity means, the Senior Primary girls enjoyed a day filled with exciting activities. They played games from different South African cultures. They acted out and retold stories from all over Africa. The girls learnt about the history of South African jazz and they loved learning a viral dance by the French singer songwriter Jain, inspired by Miriam Makeba. The girls also researched and learnt more about our own country and its rich cultural heritage - culminating in an inter-house quiz run by the quiz club captains.
