Author visit to the Grade 3s
The Grade 3s enjoyed author Sheila Verner’s visit. She enchanted the girls with the history of the Suez Canal and the EverGreen ship that was stuck there in 2021. Sheila then read her story, The Digger that Dug to the girls and and she answered their probing questions afterwards. Sheila also gave the girls some insight into how she conceived her ideas. Her guidance should help the girls write their own creative stories in class.
