The Senior Primary hall was abuzz while we awaited the arrival of Maya Wegerif, aka Sho Madjozi. The girls were over-awed by her grand entrance - and she dazzled them in her iconic pink xibelani and sparkly braids. While she did kindly share a song, or two, she was mostly here to read her new book Shoma and the Stars to the Grades 0 to 4 students. It is a lovely story about resilience, and staying true to yourself, especially if you dare to be different.
