The Grade 00 children have been learning about the letters that make up their names, and how to form them. To do this, they have used brightly coloured modelling clay, and drawn a self-portrait to place alongside their name. They also used natural treasures they found in the garden to collage their names, which are proudly displayed in the classrooms. Finally, they made an impression of their self portraits on foam trays, and used these to make beautiful mono prints on paper. The children used the brayers and block printing ink carefully to make their prints.
