Reduce Reuse Recycle
“Our mission is to protect the environment”- this very important slogan was reiterated by the ladies from the DON’T WASTE head office. The environmental club had an interesting afternoon listening to the representatives from Don’t Waste, who visited St Mary’s. The girls were informed on how waste is collected, separated, and recycled. They also asked questions and were amazed to learn that paper is further separated and plastic containers that are not rinsed out, are considered contaminated and cannot be recycled immediately. The girls found the discussion informative and promised to REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE as well as create an awareness in others.
