Mandela Day

In celebration of Mandela Day, Wednesday 18 July, the Grade 0 to 3 girls each decorated and then filled lunch bags for less fortunate people. The girls made peanut butter and jam sandwiches, with the help of their teachers, and added these to the bags with other treats and healthy snacks. The girls then gave these to anyone in need on their way home from school.
The Grade 4 to 7 pupils spent their 67 minutes decorating and then filling treat bags for the senior primary children at HA Jack Primary School. They filled these bags with basic stationery, chips, biscuits and sweets. Our Senior Primary teachers and girls then walked to HA Jack and handed a bag to the HA Jack pupils.
