School opened with much excitement for our new Grade 0 and Grade 1 girls. The Grade 0s were delighted to now be part of the “big school”. The Grade 1 girls looked very smart in their blue uniforms and blazers. As Dr Warner so aptly put it in her first newsletter of the year, “Others, like the Grade 1s are optimistic, gamely denying any discomfort caused by scratchy new uniforms and unyielding shoes.”
