Mothers' Day tea at Waverley Gardens

A group of Grade 7 girls celebrated Mothers' Day with the residents at Waverley Gardens. The elderly were entertained by Mira Kathawaro who played a couple of beautiful pieces on the piano. Erin Pullinger performed a few pieces on the flute. The group of girls then broke out into impromptu song and dance and thrilled their audience with songs from Aladdin and even sang a hymn or two. A delicious tea party was then enjoyed by all. We would like to thank SPAR once again for their very generous donation of cakes.
