We have been exploring trees and our relationship with them and nature. We have discussed various aspects of trees such as how they might communicate with each other, their structure and how we relate to them. The changing of the season brought us the opportunity to go outside and see the leaves changing colour first hand. We then discussed our theories of how the colour might get into the leaves and what causes the leaves to change. We did some observational drawings, paintings as well as using clay and wire to make leaves and trees.
