Summer Splash

In January, St Mary’s, hosted the 8th annual Summer Splash Festival. Summer Splash is one of the few events where both junior and senior school swimming and diving teams combine to compete as a unit. The Reef Cup Water Polo Tournament forms the water polo component at this popular aquatics festival.
It was a superb two days for St Mary’s, who were victorious in all three disciplines.

Water polo
The St Mary’s 1st and 2nd team both competed in The Reef Cup Water Polo Tournament. The second team was able to gain lots of game experience against first team level players and came 3rd in their pool games. The St Mary’s 1st team won all their pool games and their playoff games. They played in the final against Roedean School and came away with the win in a close final. The final score was 5-4 to St Mary’s.
