Identity

This term at Little Saints we will be exploring the concept of identity and all the various factors that encompass the question of “Who am I?” Many of the children have explored their faces and started to look more closely at the details of their facial features. Some have even explored their hands and what makes them unique. They have looked intently in the mirror and drawn what they see. They have made faces from beads and natural materials, drawn on mirrors and molded faces from clay. It has been wonderful to watch and observe the interactions between the children and hear their ideas on what makes one happy, sad, or angry. We look forward to seeing the children’s art work and theories as we continue to investigate this topic.
