Eclipsed, the 2016 FEDA winning play

Tickets are on sale, via Quicket, at a cost R120 each. All proceeds will go towards the St Mary’s community projects.

Amid the chaos of the Liberian Civil War, the captive wives of a rebel officer band together to form a fragile community. Eclipsed reveals brutalized women who must discover their own means of survival in this deeply felt portrait of women finding and testing their own strength in a hostile world of horrors not of their own making. So these are the bleak alternatives the women face: to brutalize others or to be brutalized yourself.

The evening will begin at 18h00 with complimentary cocktails served in front of The Edge.
