The St Mary’s Foundation wine auction evening was held on Thursday 28 May. Derek Ramsden, Cape Wine Master, steered the spirit of giving that was evident in the bid prices paid by the bidders, as well as the donations made.

The success of the evening was owing to the generosity of the wine estates that donated all the wine for the evening. Thank you to the members of the St Mary’s community for their participation in the auction, at which an amount of R180 000 was raised at the auction. The proceeds contribute to changing the lives of young girls on the bursary programme.
