Grade 5 tour to Lapalala

The Grade 5s spent a few exciting days at Lapalala Wilderness School in the Waterberg. The girls got off the bus with a massive amount of energy and excitement. They were eager to learn and tackled the orienteering activities with enthusiasm and displayed teamwork and team spirit during the challenging obstacle course.
The girls were eager to explore and to learn more about the environment during the educational information sessions covering rhino and water conservation, recycling and insects and other creepy crawlies. Some were even brave enough to hold Mabotse, the 25kg Burmese python. The other activities that were more exciting and the highlights of the week included canoeing, rapid shooting down the Palala River and of course the ever famous mud fight. After very busy days spent outdoors exploring and having fun, the girls were treated to delicious cooked meals and slept soundly every night.
