Eunice Tennis Festival
Two Form I girls at the Eunice Festival

It has been a busy few weeks on the tennis courts for all the St Mary’s players.

The St Mary’s A/B team beat both Trinity House AB and St Stithians AB in a convincing manner in the league. Congratulations to the St Mary’s D team who have beaten both Brescia B and Holy Rosary B in the past two weeks. Well done to the St Mary’s EF team for beating Redhill AB and to the St Mary’s G team for beating St Stithians C.

St Mary’s participated in the annual Pat Uys Tennis Festival which was hosted by Eunice School in Bloemfontein over this past weekend. Despite the extremely hot weather, the team played scintillating tennis throughout the festival. The team, comprising of Sarah Millard, Annika Gertenbach, Hannah Moore, Amukelani Mokone, Lilitha Ndungane, Alexis Banducci
and Simone Banducci beat teams from Upington High School, St Stithians College, Rhenish High School, Waterkloof and Eunice to top the log in the round robin format. Congratulations to all the players for their excellent tennis on the court and for showing the true St Mary’s spirit and camaraderie off the court. It was a pleasure to tour with these players.
