Limpopo Service Trip

Over half-term, 27 Senior School girls and four teachers travelled to Limpopo. The girls enjoyed teaching art in the classrooms at the primary school in Alma. Donations of books, stationery, toys and used clothing were given to the school shop. Monies raised in the shop are used for renovations to the school. Our team who also repainted the wall murals and assembled teaching posters. Our group had fun teaching the Grades 6 and 7 girls from Alma to model and learn a song and dance. Some Grade 7 pupils did a presentation on their school showing the greening projects which they completed and won R32 000, also to be used for renovations. In 2018, we donated fruit and nut trees to the school which are growing well.
