St Mary’s School, as an independent school, writes the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) final examinations. The standards set by the IEB have been benchmarked internationally and St Mary’s has excelled in these performance indicators. We offer a challenging curriculum with a wide range of subjects which cater for individual academic needs.

We have a fully wireless campus and all subjects require the application of Information Technology skills. Each girl is given her own email address and most classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards to aid a visual and technical dimension to learning. Our School intranet is an exciting interactive component of school life.

The St Mary’s teaching staff are flexible and are able to adjust to the ever-changing demands placed on education without compromising standards and values. We pride ourselves on the superb calibre of our committed teachers.

We offer academic tours to overseas destinations and focus on the relevance of the education offered to our pupils. Our girls write Maths Olympiads, English Olympiads and Science Olympiads and have enjoyed great successes in these challenging external academic endeavours.

I am blessed to be a part of the St Mary’s School community, to have chosen a vocation where my days are spent amongst young women. My optimism and idealism have been fuelled by the energy and sense of possibility that permeates St Mary’s School. These girls are in a class of their own.
