Grade 5

Grade 5 is an eventful and exciting year for all. The girls are actively involved in the classroom and on the sportsfield.

Independence is the key to success this year. Managing their belongings, organizing their day and taking responsibility for their tasks and classwork becomes the norm in Grade 5.

The girls go on tour to Lapalala in the Limpopo Province. This excursion gives them hands-on experience of Natural Science, Social Science, English and Life Orientation. The girls develop a good sense of themselves. They get to know one another and their teachers and the experience goes a long way in developing their independence.

At this age, the girls develop and change and so do their friendships. Help and support are always available from teachers to guide and nurture the girls as they navigate their way forward, especially as some begin their journey into adolescence.
