The St Mary’s Tuck Shop runs as a cashless card-based system. This is a card system whereby pupils can purchase food and beverages form the Tuck Shop. A ‘once-off’ cost of R30 is charged for the purchase of a card. Thereafter, a monthly administration fee of R10 is deducted only if the card is used in that month.
When depositing the Tuck Shop funds, please follow this process:
A dormant card will not be charged which means that a school holiday that covers a calendar month, and involves no purchase on the card, will have no charges due. The monthly administration account fee of R10 will be deducted from the card at the beginning of each month.
If a card is lost or stolen, a replacement fee of R50 will be charged to the card holder.

When depositing the Tuck Shop funds, please follow this process:
- Enter the reference number in the following format on the deposit slip or EFT:
StM | your child's name | pupil reference number
Example: StM | J Smith | 12345 - Email the proof of deposit to wsjhb-stmaryswaverley@kks.co.za, hand it in at the Tuck Shop or fax it to 086 686 1222
- Please note: only on receipt of proof of deposit will the funds be loaded onto the Tuck Shop card. This may take up to 48 hours to activate.
